Few objects say “Asian kitchen” quite like the Tatung 大同電鍋, the one-switch electric pot that’s steamed, braised, and cooked rice in homes across Asia since 1960. Kenelephant has shrunk this design icon down to palm size, official license and all.

Each capsule holds one of six rice cookers, about 4 cm tall and hand-painted (not just molded) to catch the exact finish of the real thing, right down to the little control switch, which is styled differently on the Taiwan and Japan versions. Every one arrives fully kitted out: inner pot, inner lid, steam plate, measuring cup, and a tiny rice paddle.

There’s even a leaflet that folds into a mini recipe booklet, printed in Japanese and Traditional Chinese with recipes from Tatung’s own collection.
